At the Jaime Torres Bodet Cultural Center in Zacatenco, 44 faces of Emiliano Zapata look straight at the viewer.

Arnaldo Coen's creative prowess shaped these works, originally created with collage and shown here in large-format reproductions in light boxes.

"I started with the idea of painting the shoes back in the year 77 that I went to design the new capital of Tanzania" said Arnaldo Coen, visual artist.

A free process with scissors and glue gave different environments to Zapata's face, imaginary worlds that give context to the character who fought for land and freedom.

"And if Zapata could travel at different times at the same time, it is a little bit the idea," added visual artist Arnaldo Coen.

The exhibition after August 9 will leave Zacatenco to visit different schools of the National Polytechnic Institute.
