Artist, sculptor, illustrator and painter, the plastic artist Arnaldo Coen was born in Mexico City in 1940. He is recognized for his work and impact during the generation of the Rupture; He managed to dazzle us by allowing us to see one of his many exhibitions for the inauguration of the Mexico Plaza Cultural Center (in Puerta Bajío). The series of works were mounted for the opening to the public of this creative space, where we had the pleasure of being accompanied by maestro Coen.
Arnaldo grew up surrounded by art since his father, a renowned musicologist; and his mother, a prominent opera singer, embraced him from a very young age in the world of this industry. Being a passionate Coen, he began to draw as a child and as the years went by he realized how happy he was when he captured what lived in his mind.
